Privacy & Security

Your privacy is a top priority for MOLINES. Our relationship with you is our most valuable asset. It is the foundation of our reputation.
We use the most sophisticated and up-to-date security measures to ensure that any information you transmit to us is kept secure. Whenever your personal information is sent from your browser to our server, it is encrypted using server certificate technology via the Secure Socket Layer to ensure that no third parties can gain access to it. All customer data is stored on a heavily secured server to protect it from outside parties.
Whether you are a MOLINES customer, a visitor to our Web site, or a participant in one of our promotional programs, we will uphold our promise to keep information about you and your account private.

Information We Collect

MOLINES may collect personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, postal address) and/or third party personally identifiable information through this website. In some situations, such as when you order a product or service online or register for online billing, MOLINES will collect billing information, such as your credit card number and billing address, and we may share this information with our third-party contractors (such as your credit card company solely for the purpose of processing the transaction you have requested). You may choose to provide individual information to MOLINES in a number of ways through our websites such as by:

  • Registering My Account;
  • Ordering a product or service from us;
  • Sending us email
  • Registering to receive news, public policy updates, or information about our products or services
  • Applying for a job

When visitors supply information about themselves for a specific purpose, MOLINES uses the information for that purpose (such as to provide the information the visitor has requested or to consider a visitor for a particular job). When visitors use our websites to order products or services, or to request information about them, we may use the individual information as we would use the same information obtained offline - for example, to evaluate your service needs and contact you regarding additional services you may find useful. You have the right to choose not to receive this information by notifying us of your preference.

We do not sell individual information obtained online about our visitors. And, we will not disclose the individual information provided to us online to anyone outside of MOLINES or our contractors unless you specifically authorize it (by making a payment using a credit card, for example, you authorize us to provide information regarding the payment to your credit card company), it is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of customers, employees or property.

However, we do need to share it in some circumstances. These may be to provide you service (e.g., to route a call or send an email), or when necessary for our suppliers to provide service to us.

Indirect End User Phone Contact Information (Personal Identifiable Information)

MOLINES acts as a data processor with regard to indirect end user personal identifiable information and our Customers act as the data controller of such data. In the course of MOLINES’ processing and protection of such data, all use will be in conformity with the data controller’s instructions.

Specifically, only when enabled via system permission on MOLINES’ Android and iOS apps, MOLINES shows personal contacts within the respective application. When the user sends an SMS message to one of his/her phone contacts, or when the user initiates a call to one of his/her phone contacts, the phone number is sent securely through MOLINES’ API. MOLINES does not store this number with any other PII, and it cannot be directly or indirectly attributed to any person or persons; MOLINES stores only the phone number and pertinent metadata so as to be compliant with all applicable state and federal laws, and MOLINES does not share this data with any advertisers or third parties under any circumstances. A user can revoke phone contact access on his/her mobile device at any time, and his/her app experience is not hindered or interrupted.

MOLINES’ Android and iOS apps also uses Gravatar, only when enabled via Settings and UIConfigs, which is a service that provides avatar images linked to the MD5 hash of the user’s email address. This means that, only when Gravatar use is enabled, we hash each contact’s email address and send it to Gravatar to try and retrieve an avatar image. MD5 hashes cannot be directly or indirectly attributed to any person or persons, and we only send the MD5 hash to Gravatar, never the email address in plain text. As with phone contacts, a user can revoke Gravatar access at any time in Settings or via UIConfig, and his/her app experience is not hindered or interrupted.

Customers

MOLINES uses such personal information only for relevant, appropriate, and customary purposes. MOLINES will not share or disclose personal information for purposes other than as described herein. The following are examples of some of the personal information MOLINES may process.

Business Contact Information:

MOLINES may collect and use personal information about individual contacts of Customers and others who access MOLINES public websites, knowledge bases, forums, ticket systems, or provide personal information through other means. Such information may include but is not limited to account information, first/last name, company name, title, and responsibilities, work email address, work mailing address, telephone numbers, login information, device identifiers, as well as additional information provided by such individuals in the course of receiving Products and Services from MOLINES and/or requesting information about MOLINES. We will use such information for the purposes of providing Products and Services, support, conducting data analytics and product assessments and related activities, and providing information regarding MOLINES Products and Services.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI):

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) may include information regarding quantity, destination, technical configuration, location, amount of use and related billing information of communications, interconnected and/or non-interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. This may include but is not limited to the phone numbers that you call or send messages to (or the phone numbers that you receive these calls and messages from) through our Products and Services. The date, time and duration of the calls may also be collected. This data is used for billing and service level assurance.

MOLINES provides Products and Services that are primarily for the benefit of Customers and Subscribers in that MOLINES transmits, routes, switches or caches information. These Products and Services merely act as a conduit for data transmitted by third parties and Subscribers. MOLINES does not determine the purposes and means of processing this personal information. Except for Subscriber data provided by the Customer (the Subscribers service provider) for which MOLINES is merely providing a conduit for transmission, the subscribed services are of such a nature that, in most instances, MOLINES requires and collects only essential CPNI and billing information; and opting out or declining to provide the requested data may hinder the provision or delivery of subscribed services. However, for CPNI data that is collected by MOLINES that is not subject to the control of others, MOLINES shall obtain consent from the user for the processing of this data.

MOLINES collects end-user CPNI in the course of providing Product support. This data may pertain to Customers of MOLINES or Subscribers (eg: end users of MOLINES’ direct Customers). This data may include IP address, telephone number, email address, call detail records, call recordings and other information sufficient to identify an individual end user.

Indirect End User’s CPNI:
MOLINES acts as a data processor with regard to indirect end user personal information and our Customers act as the data controller of such data. In the course of MOLINES’ processing and protection of such data, all use will be in conformity with the data controller’s instructions.
Direct End User’s CPNI:
MOLINES typically collects and processes direct end user (eg: Customers, vendors, and partners) personal information for the purposes of providing Products and Services, support, conducting data analytics and managing product performance.

Messaging, Voicemail, Video and Media Files:

MOLINES provides Products and Services that facilitate the recording and storage of audio and video by way of features such as but not limited to voicemail, call and conference recording. Users may elect to store or record personal information within these resources at their discretion.

Anonymized, Non-Identifying Voice and Traffic Data

MOLINES may use anonymized, non-identifying data collected from use of other MOLINES Products and Services. This anonymized, non-identifying data may be used to enhance such items, but is not limited to, voice activation, improve traffic analysis algorithms and techniques, and recognition algorithms. This processing is executed under applicable terms and supports MOLINES’ legitimate interests in tuning, maintaining and enhancing these Products and Services.

MOLINES does not send unsolicited "junk" email (spam). We may use email to communicate with our customers, to respond to visitors' emails, to confirm orders placed online, and to send information that a visitor has requested. If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can simply reply to ask not to receive future emails.

Use of Cookies

MOLINES websites also use "cookies." They allow us to serve you better. When you use our sites, we send information, a cookie, to your computer and it is stored there. When you return to our sites, your computer sends the cookie back to us. This allows our server to recognize your computer and any settings you created on our sites. It restores those settings so you don't have to enter the same information every time you visit. For example, if you entered your credit card billing address on a visit to our site, when you return you will see information for that address without typing it in again. It also allows us to track non-personally identifiable information about how our websites are used and how to improve them. The fact that our server recognizes your computer when it retrieves the cookies does not mean that MOLINES is actually acquiring information about you. You can set your browser to delete cookies or to tell you before you accept one. Look in your browser's Options or Preferences menu.

Security

MOLINES uses Secure Socket Layer technology with encryption for the transmission of sensitive data such as credit card information.

MOLINES is committed to safeguarding customer privacy on all our websites. We require our employees to protect the privacy of information about our customers and expect our merchants to do so as well. You can feel confident that your individual information will be protected when you access your account or order products or services from our websites. We employ security measures to safeguard your transactions with us.

Compliance with laws

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our websites.
